Booster Seat Battle

We've had the biggest problem finding a booster seat for Declan to join us at the kitchen table.  I've purchased two seats from Target, both have been returned (well one is in a bag, by the door, waiting to be returned).  They just didn't work for us.

The first seat slid right off the chair, how is that safe?  The second seat... I can't even explain or comprehend WHY they sell it.  It was 12 bucks so I grabbed it with out really investigating (always a mistake).  This one - it's impossible to use.  I have to hold him in the most awkward angle to get his leg through the loop and then the same thing to get him out.  Forget every trying it with his shoes on, there is no way it would work.  It's completely useless!  They could have easily made the attachment belt differently to make it a great seat, but no... you can't undo one of the leg holes.  You have to lift your child out to untangle them, what a waste.

I'm on amazon... trying to decide.  I am thinking this seat looks pretty ideal.  Any opinions, other options, anything... would be very appreciated.  He's almost 27 months old and still chilling in his highchair.  Definitely was not my plan!

  1. That is the exact seat we have. I love it and Connor doesn't mind being in it.
