February at the park

When we decided to move here I hoped that maybe there would be one day or so a week that we'd get to be outside during the winter.  After being so spoiled in San Diego and getting to walk every day, it was bound to be a big change for us.  Luckily it's been a mild winter up here in the Sierra Nevada Foothills and we are loving it.

I brought my camera along to the park today to snap some pictures of my little guy in his new fancy Winnipeg Jet's sweatshirt that my Uncle sent him all the way from Canada.

Playing restaurant.  His specialty is "bean soup" and "nani's" 

He had a big moment today.  He's fairly careful when it comes to being safe and really only got up the nerve to go down the slide by himself today.  "I did it!  I did it!"

"Weeeee!"

Also asked to go "higher! higher!" which is a first as well.  My baby boy is growing up.  By the looks of this picture?  He's pretty darn happy about that.
